Stone aqueduct span (low-poly)

bridge_aqueduct_stone_lowpoly_a · level.bridges.aqueduct

Low-poly stylized version: faceted flat-shaded geometry with one flat colour per face from a small palette, small hardware and fine detail removed. Repeatable 8 m span of a Roman-style limestone aqueduct, 9 m tall and 2.4 m deep: two round arches of dressed voussoirs with proud keystones on square ashlar piers with plinths and moulded imposts, a string course, and on top an open water channel lined with pink crushed-tile mortar between low coped walls. Heavily weathered: dark water staining and lime runs below the leaking channel, calcite sinter in the channel, moss and lichen, soil splash at the pier feet and chipped arrises; flush ends tile seamlessly along a spline.
