Oak castle drawbridge
bridge_draw_oak_a · level.bridges.drawbridge
Heavy oak castle drawbridge leaf, 4.0 m wide and 6.4 m long, that lowers across a moat: 90 mm cross planks spiked to five oak stringers, oak kerbs leaving a 3.6 m roadway, wrought-iron straps, a toe shoe and corner plates, trunnion pins turning in two pillow-block bearings at the heel and forged lifting eyes for the chains near the toe. Grey weathered, checked oak with a trodden path and cart ruts worn into the boards, mud in the ruts, rust bleeding from the spikes and a damp, green underside; hinges up to stand against the gate.
