Rope and plank suspension footbridge

Rope-and-plank suspension footbridge spanning 13.2 m with a 1.2 m sag, 1.24 m wide: lashed wooden slats with gaps on two thick hemp foot ropes, hand ropes and a suspender-and-zigzag cord net, tied off round timber posts on fieldstone pads and staked deadman logs at both ends. Sun-bleached, frayed rope, two missing slats and one split, mossy wet slats toward mid-span, rusty iron staples and dogs.
