Forged iron brazier

Forged wrought-iron standing brazier about 1.35 m tall: an open cage bowl 0.62 m across of riveted flat straps, hoops and a beaded rim band on three twisted square-bar legs with scrolled feet and a tie ring, holding a heap of charcoal, glowing embers and half-burnt split oak logs. Heat-blued and scaled iron round the basket, white-grey ash, soot up the legs, brown rust low down and charcoal bits dropped under the bowl; a light source with a fire socket.
