Timber harbour dock, pier head end (stylized)
platform_dock_timber_end_stylized_a · level.platforms.dock_end
Stylized cartoon version: chunky shapes with big rounded edges, thickened parts, a toy-like wider base and slightly hand-made wobble; bold flat colours with painted light (darker low down, lighter on top), small hardware and fine detail removed. Pier head closing the seaward end of a creosoted timber harbour dock run, 2.6 m long and 3 m wide: a joint bent and an end bent of tar-black piles with pile caps and cross braces, spiked plank decking on joists and a fascia, rub rails along the water side and across the end, heavy corner fender piles, a large cast iron bollard and horn cleat, and an iron ladder with grab hoops down the end face. Barnacles and weed below the tide line, salt-bleached deck with coiled-rope stains, brown rust on the ironwork.
