Lashed pine log raft

Hand-built raft of seven peeled pine logs 4.2 m long with scraps of bark left on, lashed with tarred hemp to three cross logs, and a steering sweep in a forked crutch at the stern. Wet and slimy at the waterline, sun-dried and checked on top; walkable deck, the sweep swivels to steer.
