Cobbled stone ramp, 1.5 m rise

Cobbled castle ramp rising 1.5 m over 6 m (14 degrees) between two sandstone rubble retaining walls 4 m overall: dark granite setts with granite kerbs, a stone rib across every metre for grip and flush sills at both ends, under a raking ashlar coping with capped foot piers. Polished, worn-down wheel lines, silt against the ribs, moss and grime in the joints and along the kerbs, damp and moss at the wall feet.
