Cobbled street, dead end

road_cobble_end_a · level.spline.road_end

Dead end of an old-town cobbled street, the cap for the 4 m cobbled straight: the straight's cambered river-cobble carriageway, channels, granite kerbs and sandstone flag footways continue from the joining face, then the kerbs and channels return round in a 1.55 m half circle that closes the road, the cobbles end against a row of dressed granite edge setts, and a rough strip of compacted earth and gravel with sunk loose stones and grass feathers into the ground behind. Heavily used: curving cart tracks, muck and oil stains, silt in the channels, moss and weeds.
