Slate tower cap (stylized)

roof_tower_cap_slate_stylized_a · level.roofs.tower_cap

Stylized cartoon version: chunky shapes with big rounded edges, thickened parts, a toy-like wider base and slightly hand-made wobble; bold flat colours with painted light (darker low down, lighter on top), small hardware and fine detail removed. Conical slate roof for a round castle tower: an oak-framed 70 degree cone 4.8 m across the eaves and 6.4 m to the apex on a low stone kerb and oak wall plate, hung with weathered blue-grey slate on sprocketed eaves, with a door lucarne onto the parapet walk, a small louvred lucarne, lead cheeks, aprons and a lead-sheathed tip, and an iron finial with compass letters and a turning banner weathervane. Lichen and moss, lead run-off, a carved lintel date; it fits inside the parapet of tower_round_stone_a.
