Grassy earth mound

Low grassy earth mound (pasture hummock), about 6 x 4 m and 1.2 m high, with an off-centre top, a short steep flank and a long low shoulder; close-grazed sheep turf with tussocky tone and a drier crest, two worn sheep tracks, a bare soil scrape, molehills, three sunken angular gritstone blocks and grass and rush tufts at the foot. Its edge sinks below the ground with no rim, to break up flat terrain.
